UTM Consultants are looking for a Works Manager, to assist our client with their project offshore, USA. The Works Manager will oversee and coordinate all activities related to cable termination and testing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution. This role involves managing subcontractor works, supervising offshore operations, and optimizing logistics and interface management between Service Operation Vessels (SOV) and walk-to-work gangways.
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
-Communicate clearly with project engineers, project management and Clients.
-Take the responsibility towards organization of the works and ensure they are carried out in accordance to the method statement and in a safe way.
-Accurately monitor the progress of projects.
-Assist in the coordination of the work on site, optimize and correct if necessary.
-Report about budget and cost control in close collaboration with the project manager.
-Secondary Tasks and responsibilities ?
Technical profile requirements
-7 Years of relevant (offshore) work experience.
-Strong project management and planning skills.
-Extensive experience working in Highsafety environments.
Non-Technical profile requirements
-Good communication skills and able to take a critical view towards the works to be carried out.
-Work well in teams, where you are able to support the other persons in your team and lead the workforce in the field.
