Site Technician

• Inspect cranes, lifting equipment and service lifts, including Avanti and SkyMan models, within your demonstrated competence.
• Review equipment identification, inspection history, certificates, maintenance records and previous defects.
• Complete the required visual, dimensional and functional checks and record the results.
• Classify and report defects, recommend corrective actions and escalate equipment that may be unsafe to use.
• Maintain traceable inspection reports and support audit and document-control requirements.
• Coordinate with the operator, maintenance team and any required external inspection body.
• Follow site WTSR and offshore safety requirements while working.

• Mechanical or electrical trade certificate, or equivalent vocational qualification.
• Documented qualifications and experience as a Crane Inspector and/or Lift Inspector for the assigned inspection scope.
• Relevant inspection and OEM training for the equipment in scope. This may include crane periodic inspection qualification and HIAB or Palfinger training, or Avanti and SkyMan service lift inspection or maintenance training.
• Current WTSR Core training and experience as an Authorised or Competent Technician, with the site appointment required for the assigned work.
• Current project-required GWO offshore training and offshore medical.

The project is due to start on 1st March 2027 and will last approx. 24 weeks
