UTM Consultants are looking for a Project QHSE Officer on board, to be part of an on-site team for one of our offshore projects. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and enforcing QHSE-S standards, inspecting activities and equipment, and ensuring proper implementation of procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
- QHSE reporting & KPI tracking – Communicate with project management and vessel teams.
- On-site safety engagement – Participate in meetings and toolbox talks.
- Incident & Non-Conformity investigations – Identify root causes and support corrective actions.
- Workforce involvement – Encourage active participation in HSE initiatives and campaigns.
- Site inspections – Conduct HSE audits and ensure proper reporting, communication, and follow-up.
- Observation Card management – Oversee Safety Hazard Observation Cards onboard.
Technical Requirements:
- Provide (technical) QHSE support to the team onboard.
- Ensure personnel use the latest versions of PQMP, PHSEMP, ITP, MST, RA, and other relevant documentation.
- Experience in Pull-in operations & T&T is a plus.
Non-Technical Requirements:
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
Certifications & Qualifications.
- Degree/Certificate in Health and Safety Management (NEBOSH IDip (Occupational Health and Safety Management) or equivalent is a plus. NEBOSH IGC or equivalent as a minimum).
- GWO Basic Safety, HUET+CA-EBS & Bi-Deltoid certifications.
- Offshore Medical Certificate.
As this project is offshore in the USA, having a B1 OSC Wind Visa is a plus. If this is not the case, the project can assist in obtaining the Visa.
