Client Representative – WTG

Duration: 24 Weeks
UTM Consultants are looking for a suitable candidate to support offshore WTG installation activities, ensuring accurate reporting, safe working practices, and compliance with approved procedures throughout the execution phase.

Responsibilities

Maintain an accurate daily record of all installation activities throughout the execution phase.
Ensure all relevant approved procedures and risk assessments are followed by the contractor.
Ensure the contractor proactively manages safety and quality.
Act, behave, and lead by example in line with professional standards and project expectations.

Tasks

Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR) as required.
Ensure the DPRs are signed by all required parties.
Review and understand risk assessments, method statements, and QHSE documents before the execution phase commences, and remain updated on any changes.
Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks, and any other discussions to ensure the works are carried out safely and to the required quality standard.
Be present as a witness during all defined key activities and, where practicable, during installation activities. Access all work areas where it is safe to do so.
Participate in safety walks with HSE representatives from the client and contractor organisations.

Deliverables

Daily recording of activities relating to load-out, transit, positioning, and installation.
Daily Progress Report (DPR).

Qualifications

Mandatory

GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, Enhanced First Aid, Fire Awareness, and Manual Handling.
HUET, STCW 2010, OPITO or BOSIET, and EBS, such as STASS, HEED, or EBS.
Offshore medical certificate, including Chester Step Test.
IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training.

Recommended

LOLER and CDM awareness or training.
Marine awareness qualifications as required by the package role.
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience within the specific package area.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet-based systems.
Experience using DPR and Synergi systems is desirable.

 

The project is due to start on 1st October 2026 and will last approx. 24 weeks
